Professor Charles Claoué was trained at the University of Cambridge where he was a Churchill Scholar and was awarded a Distinction in Surgery in his final examinations. His postgraduate training was at St. Thomas' Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London where he was a Corneal Fellow.
